Donations
Communicare is a 100% Western Australian charity that relies on the generosity of community members to help support disadvantaged individuals and families in times of crisis. All monies donated to Communicare are utilised for items and services such as food vouchers and hampers, winter blankets and other forms of Emergency Relief.
Communicare also coordinates a Christmas Appeal each year in conjunction with Uniting Care and Target shopping centres. This begins in early November and involves the collection and distribution of toys, food and vouchers to disadvantaged families at the most financially-challenging time of the year.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible and are exempt
from administration fees, which means 100% of all donations go straight
to those in need.

Wills/bequests
A bequest is a gift or donation left in a will. By leaving a bequest to Communicare, you will be making a lasting impression in the community. No amount is too large or small. All bequests and donations are exempt from administration fees, which means 100% of all donations go straight to those in need.
For more information on bequests, contact Communicare
on 9451 9777 and we will point you in the right direction.
Volunteers
Not all donations to Communicare need to be financial. In many ways, the donation of time is more vital to the running of a charity, to ensure that those in need are catered for by people who really do care. Regardless of age or skills, Communicare urges potential Volunteers who want to give something back to the community, to donate their time and help make a difference in somebody’s life.
It isn’t just the organisation and community that benefits from Volunteers; the ‘Vollies’ themselves gain much from the rewarding experience, such as developing their existing skills and being part of a close-knit team environment.
Remember, one person can make a difference.
