Parenting Services

Connected Communities

Strengthening families and communities.

Connected Communities provides free in-home support to improve the health and wellbeing of parents and their children.

Our program also provides free parenting courses which help parents to feel better connected with their children, as they gain an improved understanding of their children's needs and behaviours.

Parent Mentors work alongside parents to help implement the strategies learnt from these courses.

The Benefits of Connected Communities

Parents who participate in our program may benefit from it by:

  • Increasing their knowledge, skills and information to meet their children’s social, emotional and developmental needs;
  • Maximise their confidence to help their children with early learning, and supporting school transition and engagement and;
  • Develop their capacity to maintain connections with other families and services.
