Registering as one of our Family Day Care educators is a cost-effective process with reasonable membership fees and levies.

Membership Fees

Our fee structure for the 2018/19 financial year is as follows:

Probationary Membership $230 6 Month membership

Probationary membership

Our probationary membership is valid for the first six months following registration. This membership must be paid in full. 

Benefits of the probationary membership include:

  • A minimum of six face-to-face support visits per year;
  • Communicare Family Day Care’s membership with Family Day Care WA ensures continued professional support in the FDC industry;
  • Efficient administration management including the Commonwealth PEP system (CCMS/CCSS);
  • Support on fee related concerns;
  • Processing of attendance sheets and timely payment to Educators;
  • Processing of enrolment forms, re-enrolment forms and variation to contract forms;
  • Maintaining accuracy of Parent Statements;
  • Ongoing phone and email support from Education Support Officers (ESO's).

Annual membership

Annual membership fees are only relevant once the probationary period has been completed. Fees can be paid in full or a fortnightly payment of $36.50 to be deducted from pay, however written authorisation from educator will be required.

If the fortnightly option has been chosen and an educator chooses to leave, they will be invoiced for the remainder of the year up to the amount of $450. If a contract is terminated, the service reserves the right to invoice at their own discretion.

  • Continuity of professional recognition as we are a registered member of Family Day Care WA;
  • Extension of Communicare’s staff Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to Educators;
  • Efficient administration management including the Commonwealth Child Care Management System (CCMS);
  • Support on fee related concerns;
  • Processing of attendance sheets and timely payment to educators;
  • Processing of enrolment forms, re-enrolment forms and variation to contract forms;
  • Maintaining accuracy of parent statements;
  • Phone and email support from ESO’s.

Membership Levies

Our levies for the 2018/19 financial year is as follows:
