Parenting is the hardest job on the planet!  This internationally recognised program focuses on how to strengthen the parent/child relationship.

Circle of Security is a gentle program that helps parents to look beneath behaviour and discover what their child is really trying to say.

It provides parents with a ‘map’ to help them better read their child’s needs, respond wisely and watch as their behaviour improves.

Please note:  This  workshop is  8-sessions and will commence on Wednesday 13 January and finish on 3 March 2021.

Keeping Kids in Mind - February

Parents love their children and want the best for them. However, after separation, parenting often gets much tougher.

Keeping Kids in Mind is a 5-session course for separated parents who are experiencing on-going conflict.

The course is designed to:
  • Assist parents to see through their children’s eyes the experience of parental separation.
  • Develop greater understanding about how to support children following family separation
The course covers the following topics:
  • Grief and Loss after Separation
  • The Hidden World of Children
  • Rebuilding Resilience
  • Bridging the Gap
  • Looking Back and Moving Forward
Please note: This is a 5-session program which will commence on Monday 1 February and conclude on Monday 8 March 2021 (public holiday on 1 March).

It is recommended that participants attend all sessions.

This education session is designed to address the road blocks that keep your child from moving forward with toilet training success. It provides a ‘map’ to help better read your child’s needs, understand your child’s emotional world, support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions, build their self-esteem, support their need to build new skills and strengthen the relationship you have with your child

Bringing up Great Kids: Parenting after Family Violence - February

This workshop is a mindful, reflective and respectful program for parents and carers impacted by family violence. This program supports mothers to:
  • Understand how family violence affects parenting and relationships with children and how it can be more effective.
  • Identify and deliver the important messages they want to convey to their children.
  • Learn more about brain development in children and its influence on their thoughts, feels and behaviour.
  • Understand and respond to the meaning behind their children’s behaviour.
Discover ways to take care of themselves, to find support when needed, and to understand their inner strengths and courage.

Please note: This is a 7-session workshop starting on Wednesday 10 February and finishing on 24 march 2021. It is beneficial for parents to try and attend all sessions.

While some feelings of anxiety can be a normal part of children's development, an increasing number of children experience higher levels of anxiety that can impact on their day to day life.

This workshop will provide parents and caregivers with a greater understanding of the problems of increasing levels of anxiety in their children and the role they can play in preventing the development of anxiety problems.

It will also provide a range of practical steps that parents and caregivers can take to help build resilience in their children.
