Communicare and Yorgum Aboriginal Corporation signed an official agreement to partner in the delivery of the Family Support Network in the Fremantle/Rockingham area.

Working with Yorgum Aboriginal Corporation will ensure the cultural security needs of our Aboriginal families are met by all providers collaborating across the network.

Family Support Network in the Fremantle/Rockingham area is led by Communicare and funded by the Department of Communities - Child Protection and Family Support – under the Earlier Intervention and Family Support Strategy.

Leveraging expertise from Yorgum Aboriginal Corporation enables the Family Support Network to deliver targeted support to Aboriginal families and children who have been referred by the Department of
Communities to help keep their children safe at home.

It's exciting the agreement has now been formalised and the Family Support Network are now looking to appoint a Yorgum Aboriginal Cultural Advisor to join the team.
