The Engagement Forum at Edith Cowan University (ECU) Mount Lawley took place in late November and presented an excellent opportunity for delegates to learn more about Communicare’s approach to re-engaging young people, particularly those considered ‘at-risk’.

Several of our staff, including Mario Tufilli, Monica Sharma, Rahul Verma and Kane Boyatzis teamed up to deliver a joint presentation on our inclusive approach to supporting young people and youth at risk.

Their presentation covered key program areas including Alternative Education Program, Transition to Work, Therapeutic and Psychological Services and Communicare Academy.

Other presentations were given by Dr Mandie Shean, Dale Murray and Professor Carol Bower providing WA educators and support staff with valuable insight into engaging youth through education, employment, training and life skills.
