Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. This is what each of our Communicare Academy Year 12 students have done across their learning journey with us, writing a chapter in their history by attaining Certificates I, II and/or III in General Education for Adults, a qualification that will now travel with them into their futures.

As we come to the end of the school year our Communicare Academy will be farewelling 13 students who have achieved amazing accomplishments academically but also social, emotionally and physically. Our Year 12 student cohort will finish their time with us with:

  • 3 students achieving their Cert III
  • 10 students achieving their Cert II
  • 1 student joining the workforce with secured part-time employment
  • 10 students applying for further education and training at TAFE and awaiting acceptances
  • 3 students seeking full-time employment

Today, joined by a plethora of dignitaries including our Patron the Hon. Ben Wyatt MLA, some of our Board of Directors, Stephen Price MLA, and representatives from the office of the Hon. Ken Wyatt MP, Scouts WA, Equus Bonding, the Brothers In Guidance Program and Allens Linklaters; we congratulated and celebrated our Communicare Academy graduating class of 2019. We wish them all the very best and hope they remember their time with us fondly.
