Since launching in March this year, our Everyday Elves Workshop (EEW) has been working to create social and economic inclusion by providing children and families with essentials that enable them to participate in sports and other activities.

Recently, the volunteers who run the workshop held a free pop up stall for clients from programs such as Playgroup, English and Life Skills, Settle In and ParentsNext.

The pop up shop was orchestrated to help our clients clothe their kids in quality sporting wear for the months ahead, with items including long sleeve sweat proof tops, swimwear bottoms and hoodies.

The stall saw many members of our communities, and particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) backgrounds, walk away with one less item to purchase for their child's sporting needs.

Located in our Cannington office, our Everyday Elves Workshop is a special place that helps build bridges in our communities by relieving the financial pressures that hinder inclusion.

If you'd like to help break down barriers and see more children in our communities participate in activities they otherwise couldn't afford, please donate here.
