On November 15th 2017, our Executive Director People, Culture and Brand, Mas Bianchi, presented at the WA HR Leaders Summit; raising Communicare’s profile amongst Perth businesses and highlighting our achievements in becoming a holistic organisation.
Held at Crown Towers, the event gathered over 250 senior local HR decision makers from various industries, with presenters invited to share their most valuable lessons on leading people through change and shaping the future of their organisations in a challenging economic climate.
Mas spoke to attendees about the development of Communicare’s new brand and values, and the implementation of our Code of Conduct Principles framework which has formulated our HR policies to guide our workforce on how to infuse our brand and values into our daily working lives.
On 23rd November, our Director of Finance Lou Charlet was asked to be a guest speaker at the 5th Walker Anderson “Women in Business” event in the city. The networking and thought leadership event adopted a speed dating-type approach to round table discussions, with more than 100 attendees rotating around the room, listening to each guest speaker’s thoughts on their chosen topic.
Following on from the focus we have been giving leadership at Communicare, Lou led her groups through a discussion on the importance of “Authentic Leadership” and what characteristics authentic leaders portrayed. It was a fantastically well attended event and was a great opportunity for Communicare to stand with other contemporary and values-based organisations.
