Communicare's GetActive Project Officer, Nic Morabito teamed up with Royal Life Saving Western Australia to enrol 32 children from across Communicare's programs into Term 3 swimming lessons.

Nic enrolled 23 participants from Communicare's Get Active program and nine other children from other Communicare programs including, ParentsNext.
The children are aged from four to 12 and come from a range of multicultural backgrounds.

Communicare's ongoing partnership with the Royal Life Saving Western Australia provides children with an opportunity to learn vital swimming and water safety skills that they may otherwise miss out on.

The children are now enjoying attending one swimming lesson per week over 10 weeks, taught by qualified and experienced instructors.

The program is crucial in enabling the children to develop water safety skills and confidence ahead of the spring and summer months.

Congratulations to Nic for his collaborative approach in supporting children and families across our programs.
