Tuart House Coordinator, Women's Support Services, Kathy Lockley and her team have been reimagining and reinventing their site to create a wellbeing room for residents and staff to enjoy. The team identified that a space originally allocated as a children's room was underutilised with a large amount of children's toys and books.

Child Support Workers, Deb Salkeld and Pam Woodmore took it upon themselves to transform the space into an area that is now calming and relaxing.
The staff at Tuart House have been quick to start using the space with clients and all agree that it is an amazing transformation.

Communicare's Tuart House facility is a regional crisis accommodation and support service for women and their children who are homeless, or are at imminent risk of homelessness, as a result of family and domestic violence. The service relies on the generosity of the philanthropists and local community.
