The WA Inclusion Agency successfully hosted a Specialist Equipment Library forum on Thursday 7th March.

Over 30 professionals attended the half-day forum held at the Darius Wells Library & Resource Centre.

The forum was an opportunity for educators, coordinators and health professionals to come together and learn about the Specialist Equipment Library (SEL) component of the Inclusion Support Programme.

The new 2019 SEL catalogue launched early this year has over 300 pieces of Specialist Equipment available for loan to Eligible Early Childhood and Child Care centres.

It was a great opportunity for the Inclusion Support team to get educators and therapists in the same room to keep them up to date with the programme and to facilitate networking across the sector.

WA Inclusion Agency showcased equipment for professionals to have a hands-on experience with specialist items  that can support children with additional needs to be fully included in the childcare environment.
