White Ribbon Australia is part of the world’s largest social movement to end men’s violence against women. Through a primary prevention approach, we aim to stop violence before it starts.
White Ribbon Australia’s vision is a national free from men’s violence against women. We achieve this through community education and mobilisation campaigns, youth programs, and workplace initiatives. Through our programs and campaigns, we call on men and boys to be actively involved in ending violence and abuse.
In 2020, Communicare acquired White Ribbon Australia. This addition built on Communicare’s strong reputation as a family and domestic violence (FDV) services provider in Western Australia and meant Communicare now offered programs for each type of FDV prevention – primary, secondary and tertiary.
