Our Communicare Tuart House facility is a regional accommodation and support service for women and their children who are homeless or are at imminent risk of homelessness as a result of family and domestic violence.
We aim to create a space for women and their children to feel safe, be heard and empowered to rebuild their self-identity, goals and dreams.
The Benefits of Communicare Tuart House
Our Communicare Tuart House program provides the following support:
- Emergency accommodation.
- Case management.
- Women’s services advocacy.
- Outreach support.
- Therapeutic environment to rebuild their lives.
Staff can assist with individual needs and support regarding matters such as, but not limited to:
- Legal referrals
- Housing referrals
- Financial referrals
- Children’s services
- Health and wellbeing
- Counselling referrals
Who Can Communicare Tuart House Help?
Our Communicare Tuart House accommodation facility is available to women and their children across WA who are homeless or at high risk of homelessness as a result of family and domestic violence.
How Can Communicare Tuart House be Accessed?
Women and their children can access our Communicare Tuart House program via a self-referral or a referral by a supporting agency.
Our program supports up to six women, with or without accompanying children, at any one time so a wait list may apply.
