As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable West Australians, we recently hosted a strategy session with fellow representatives from partner organisations in the Financial Wellbeing Collective (FWC).
The FWC is a collaboration of 12 not-for-profit organisations and local government agencies – including Communicare – which provide a range of integrated services to reduce the drivers and impacts of financial hardship.
Our Director Youth and Community Services Stacey Jobson-Hunter has been appointed to the FWC Executive Group, lending her experience to facilitate collective action, and bringing scale to what can be very complex issues.
“The challenges faced by our communities can only be addressed through collaboration and partnership to demonstrate the need for ongoing and significant investment to reduce financial hardship,” Stacey said.
Services provided by the FWC include:
Financial Counselling
Energy Ahead
Emergency Assistance
Community Education
