Support and referral services for partners and ex-partners of individuals engaged in our men’s support services.

Our Partnerships for Family Safety program provides support, advocacy and referral services to partners affected by violence or abuse by an intimate partner or family member. Our program works to support to empower women to help them make connections in their community and stay in their family home when it is safe to do so.

The Benefits of Partnerships for Family Safety

Our Partnerships for Family Safety program provides the following support:

  • Consented ongoing phone support, from the moment a violent or abusive partner engages one of our men’s behaviour change programs.

  • Safety planning for both women and their children.

  • Referrals to appropriate women’s advocacy services, specialist counselling and access to other victim services.

Who Can Partnerships for Family Safety Help?

Our Partnerships for Family Safety program is available to all partners, ex-partners and family members of participants involved with our men’s behaviour change programs.

How Can Partnerships for Family Safety be Accessed?

Upon engaging with one of our men’s behaviour change programs, participants are required to consent to providing contact details of partners and ex-partners so our Partnerships for Family Safety Team can make contact and ensure appropriate support and referral services can be offered.

Where is Partnerships for Family Safety Located?

Our Partnerships for Family Safety program is a phone support service.
