Every day, early learning services across Western Australia are working to ensure all children feel safe, included, and able to thrive. Through the Inclusion Support Program (ISP), funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, services receive tailored guidance, practical strategies, and hands‑on support to strengthen their inclusive practice.
At Goodstart Early Learning Canning Vale, Centre Manager Clarissa has seen firsthand the difference the ISP makes. In her words, the partnership has empowered her team to confidently support children with diverse needs, embed inclusive approaches into daily routines, and create environments where every child can participate fully. The ongoing connection with Inclusion Professionals has also helped build educator capability, offering both reassurance and expertise when navigating complex needs.
Her experience reflects what we hear from services across the state: inclusion grows stronger when educators feel supported, informed, and connected.
