How to use the Good Enough Parenting Cards
For Caregivers
The Good Enough Parenting cards are a practical tool designed to support and enhance your parenting/caregiving skills. The cards provide strategies based on the Circle of Security framework (information on this program can be found here Resources for Parents – Circle of Security International ), by helping you as caregivers, address parenting challenges, and improve relationships with your children.
These resources focus on core areas of parenting, like emotional expression, empathy, and self-care.
For Facilitators
The cards can serve as a guide in workshops or at home, helping parents and caregivers foster nurturing environments and build stronger bonds with their children.
The cards provide a strengths-based resource which focuses on:
- Supporting caregivers to increase in confidence with parenting, by providing tools and resources to use during moments of uncertainty.
- Foster stronger parent and child relationships based in evidence-based principles, and;
- Make theoretical concepts accessible to families from all backgrounds.
