It’s Time to Rethink Schooling for a Changing Generation
You don’t have to look far to find families grappling with autism, ADHD, severe bullying, or school refusal, complex challenges all linked to the school system. The statistics are startling:…
When I first met Jade, I was in a very dark place mentally. Motherhood felt overwhelming, and I was struggling with all the challenges that came along with raising a young child. I felt like I had no connection at all with my two-and-a-half-year-old son, and I didn’t know how to fix it.
Going into our first meeting, I was skeptical. I thought, “This is a waste of my time. Anything she says won’t help.” But I was very, very wrong. From the very beginning, Jade showed a level of understanding, compassion, and practical support that I hadn’t experienced before.
Jade has been more than just a guide, she has been a constant source of reassurance, advice, and encouragement. She gave me the tools I needed to manage my anxiety, face my fears, and rebuild my confidence as a mother. She supported me through the toughest moments, offering guidance and knowledge while always making sure I knew I wasn’t alone.
Her support went far beyond our scheduled sessions. Jade visited Ollie’s daycare to better understand his world, arranged regular catchups with me, and made time for phone call check-ins whenever I needed them. She met me where I was at, both emotionally and practically, and helped me navigate the everyday challenges of parenting in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
Now, my son is four and a half, and the difference is incredible. I am finally able to fully embrace and enjoy motherhood, and the bond we share is stronger than I ever thought possible. Looking back, I honestly believe that without Jade, I wouldn’t have survived some of those early, overwhelming days of motherhood. Her ongoing support has been our guiding light, and I will forever be grateful for the impact she has had on both my life and my son’s.
Thanks to Jade, I am not just surviving, I am thriving as a mother, and our family is thriving too.
