We aim to create community inclusion and community safety by working collaboratively with individuals, families and communities to facilitate social and economic inclusion for all and establish and sustain safe and healthy communities.
Established in 1977, we have developed into a dynamic not-for-profit organisation with an enduring reputation as a community organisation that genuinely cares.
Our aspiration is to create strong, safe and inclusive communities with the purpose of inspiring and empowering people to live a life of their choice.
Our philosophy is to provide hope and opportunity for people and, over the years we have distinguished ourselves as a provider and innovator of services as well as an advocate to enhance social and economic inclusion.
Our two pillars of core core - business inclusion and community safety – form the foundations of our diverse service directorates of Children, Family, Settlement, Education & Training, Employment and Family Violence & Justice services.
Supported by a workforce of approximately 300 employees and alliances with government, non-government and a range of corporate supporters, for over 40 years we have worked collaboratively and in partnership to make a difference in the lives of our community’s most vulnerable citizens; working towards Creating Futures.
